Elephant stomp is a true sloppy midtempo banger, as you could have guessed from the name. Arrival then takes you on an aciddy trip to lalaland.

The fourth compilation released by Heimlich Musik consists of 15 tracks showing the broadest range of all compilations so far. With the idea to represent the whole musical spectrum that Heimlich stands for, the label sticks to combining newcomers, old and new friends as well as well-established artists. Daniel Steinfels starts off an episode of trippy elements followed by tracks from artists such as Arutani and Hobta, just to name a few, who pick up this idea of spacy synth elements. The first psychedelic episode is followed by rather organic interpretations from artists such as Ulisses, Xique-Xique and many more that drive the compilation to South America and right back again without forgetting about the latest Disco-ish side of the Heimlich imprint featuring a track by the infamous Janefondas. El Remolon is completing the journey by finishing it with a piece that is keeping up the trippy first part while including elements influenced by Regaton and Cumbia.

Of Dominican descent, Andres is a gentleman in the streets but a prodigy on the beats, featuring a history of bringing records to high-ranking labels that to name only a few, include The Gardens of Babylon, Stil Vor Talent, Pipe & Pochet and Klassified. His sound is distinct, yet diverse, dancing the lines between Afro-Latin influences, synthwave and the darker sides of disco, but characterised by a signature spirit that one can only describe as unapologetically authentic. 

When he isn’t demolishing dance floors or crafting his next release, VANDER keeps busy with an extraordinary amount of non-ordinary pursuits. From booking international talent with his Amsterdam-based events label Corals to teaching the next generation of producers through the online platform known as the Curious Artist’s Club, the loveable Latino never ceases to inspire those around him with humility and hustle. While few know what he’s up to next, rumours of an explosive live performance are making the rounds among loyal fans and promoters alike.
