DJ / Music Producer / Professional Musician.

Now resident in Oslo-Norway he makes part of the family in clubs like The Villa, Fisk og Vilt, Rockefeller and he was included in Øyafestivalen 2012 representing Hi-Fi Klubben.

Guesting the best clubs and festivals around, he has a promising international career that has taken him to important clubs and events in places like Barcelona, Paris, Ibiza, Stockholm, Madrid, Menorca, Bogota, Oslo, Helsinki, etc…

Being an enthusiastic record collector and a rebel at heart he has always been an artist difficult to categorize, always creating his own paths, and trusting his own personal instinct. Raised on the base of fidget house, electro pop, electro rock, miami bass and electronica.

He has a unique attitude as an artist, and is impossible to miss with his energetic dance-moves behind the decks and his characteristic mustache. 

He studied in Bogota Colombia at Universidad javeriana (1999) then he moved to Barcelona-Spain to continue studding at taller de musics specializing in jazz and modern music (2001) and finally went to SAE institute in Barcelona to course "electronic music producer certificate" (2009)

 He founded MUSTACHE AND MUSIC STUDIO producing music for advertising, films and artists, making music of all kinds, indie, rock, pop, hip hop, orchestral electronica, etc.

In Barcelona he is a regular dj at important clubs like Razzmatazz, Apolo, City hall, CDLC, Hotel ME, Nasty Mondays, Crappy Tuesdays, La caja club, Rock nights and many others... 

 Mustache has done remixes for Radiohead, Maya Vik, Dragonette, Air, Tears for fears, Kakkmaddaffakka,  Talking heads and many more including the Colombian upcoming band El reino del mar..

After experiencing a surging demand from fans and “A-list” music insiders, producer Paris Toon decided to hand-pick a team of globe-trotting hot shots who are rumored to include John Blackwell (Prince), Charles Haynes (Marcus Miller)  on drums,  Saeeda Wright (Prince), Tanya Tiet (Sister Sledge) on vocals, Alissia Benveniste, Mike Cobb (Bootsy Collins) on bass, Tyrone Chase (Brian McKnight), Jeff Lockhart (Meshell N’Degeocello) on guitar and other talented musicians who have played with the likes of Justin Timberlake, Jill Scott, Liv Warfield, John Mayer, The New Power Generation and more.

Paris Toon is the award-winning lyricist/producer and musical enigma behind Brooklyn born Jazz Soul collective Mother’s Favorite Child. He is an extraordinary composer and producer who never seems to stray for a moment from his forward driven vision of success in the music world.

Paris started out as a hip-hop producer and has done Jazz Soul production and remix work for many different projects during his career. His influences range from Rakim and Stevie Wonder to Sly Stone, Prince and John Lennon. These influences make themselves evident in his compositions and many of the lyrics he writes. As newer artists like D’Angelo, Jill Scott, Maxwell and Adele came about, Paris’s inspiration grew in even broader directions while still holding firmly to musical pioneers from the past. His writing style has taken the genres of Soul, Jazz and R&B to a level unfamiliar to most, provoking intense curiosity and appreciation for the “next phase” of Soul music. With these inspirational forces embedded in his spirit, Paris Toon has set out on the mission to push Mother’s Favorite Child to the front of the music lines.
