The ‘Grow Up, Kid’ EP is packed to the brim with wonky vocals, trippy synths, heavy basslines, sleazy percussion and hard-hitting drums throughout, forming an EP that is destined to keep you raving all night long.

Guys, we're back with a bunch of FREAKS and the good news is, there are some brand new characters joining We Are Freaks Records. 

Our second compilation is full of new sounds and creative minds - we would say it brings back the vibe of 2020. 
Let's start with our good old FREAKS. 
On the one hand we have our German artists like GiddiBangBang, Vince Versa, Fab Massimo and Dynamike - bass loaded, groovy, electrifying and funky. 
On the other hand, Italy's Heider is back with the Freaks and also the great Colossi Rah supports the Various Freaks again. 

Our new characters are No Messin, NOT NOT, Alltalk and Flo.Von. 
Some of you might know these three guys?! 
NOT NOT & Alltalk have each released a banger on our sublabel 'Freak Of The Week' this year, No Messin is the founder of Brash Beats and Flo.Von featuring GiddiBangBang on the track 'Joker'.

For the perfect finishing touch and last but not least, our label bosses Elternhouse provides us with a fantastic track called 'Feel My Drums' as a free download.

UK based DJ and producer, ODCEE, makes his debut on Strangelove this August with his brand new, 'Loop Seizure' EP. Since kickstarting his career in early 2019, he has since gained support from some of the most renowned names in the industry and with an impressive release catalogue to date on labels including Repopulate Mars, CUFF, Roush and Dusty Grooves, it's easy to see why the buzz around him is escalating. The 'Loop Seizure' EP offers the perfect blend of rattling hi-hats, warped synths, hypnotic vocal chants from Cami Jones on the lead track and wobbly acid bass lines that sit nicely alongside punchy drums and a grooving low-end. ODCEE is most certainly a name to watch out for in 2020.

Vanilla Ace aka London DJ and producer Sam Young is a prolific and increasingly prominent force in house music. A firm favourite in his native UK and a growing name globally, with releases on Toolroom, Suara, Kittball, Safe Music, Hot Boi, Glasgow Underground, Nervous, Simma Black and Spinnin Deep Vanilla ACE has been making club hits since 2012.

Originally from Ladbroke Grove, London, Vanilla Ace has more than two decades of DJing behind him, growing up on a healthy dose of hip-hop, disco and house music. 

The last few years have seen him go from strength to strength with top charting singles on Beatport, Traxsource and Trackitdown. 

Recent releases have been on Elrow Music, Toolroom, Big Beat/Atlantic, Universal, Box of Cats, Hot Boi, Wh0 Plays, Stashed and Club Sweat. 

2019 saw Sam launch his own label WyldCard which is growing fast with some great releases. 

The Gee built around an instantly recognizable sax sample shot to no.1 on Beatport 100 chart and stayed there for 2 weeks in 2016 and picked up support from an array of club and radio DJs. This follows his 8 week stay on the top 10 on Beatport ‘Deep House’ top 100 with ‘Bring it Back’ on OFF recordings in 2013.

Touring globally, Vanilla Ace has performed in North and South America, Australia, South Africa and India, with bookings including HARD Summer festival, Holy Ship , Green Valley in Brazil, Ministry of Sound and Egg in London and Chinese Laundry in Sydney, Australia playing alongside the likes of Amine Edge & Dance, Shiba San, Patrick Topping, Tough Love, Green Velvet, Low Steppa, Roger Sanchez and Breach.
