Curated with care by the label founder Joris Voorn, the exciting collection fixes our full focus on tomorrow. The next-generation talent, the new sounds and spirits who are shaping and guiding our culture into the future; all together in a series that welcomes nothing but new ideas and perspectives.

Like a Spectrum of light itself, each edition will be a different colour, breaking down each element and wavelength that characterises, inspires and gives the label its unique identity.

It starts here with 'Green'. A forward-thinking place of freshness and new beginnings, home to an exciting range of talents both established and brand new and almost all new to Spectrum's ever-growing family. Stelios Vassiloudis, Amarone, Talal, gardenstate together with Hvitling and Yenzen, Carl Bee and Luigi Samby run the full dance floor gamut from heads-down hypnosis to rolling, unrelenting techno.

Tune-into the frequencies and expect nothing less than the full bandwidth as Spectrum unveil more colourways as we move into the future.

Continuing a strong start to the year, SLC-6 Music welcomes Rocio Portillo, Karim Sar Sar and Valley (AR) to the label with a new single. Hailing from Argentina, this trio of rising artists made a memorable impression with their first collaborative effort in 2022. Released in October, their 'Ananda' EP for Madloch's 3rd Avenue caught the attention of organic and progressive house DJs, in turn making them a trio to watch going forward. Now, presenting just their second ever collaborative project, Rocio, Karim and Valley (AR) debut on SLC-6 Music with 'Condor Plateado', alongside remixes from Pedro Belardo, Jesuan M and Maximo Lasso. Picking up on the moods of their previous work, the trio crafts a soulful slice of organic house where sultry sax riffs and fluttery flute motifs delight over pulsating grooves and exotic percussion. Also making his label debut is Pedro Belardo who provides the first interpretation of 'Condor Plateado'. The Buenos Aires resident goes for a dubbier approach, using the main themes sparingly, while a wealth of squelchy synths, timely tonal tension and thumping beats make for a huge peak time romp. Fresh off a sensational EP for Antrim's Or Two Strangers to end the year, Argentinean artist Jesuan M takes 'Condor Plateado' into his world of contemporary progressive house, as hook-heavy rhythms, hip-swinging grooves and an emotional break make for memorable dance floor moments. Rounding out the release, Maximo Lasso makes his label debut with a huge progressive rendition , one where heartfelt chord changes and poignant atmospheric phrasing blanket driving grooves for the most emotive version on the project.

Since his debut EP (Stars) for Bedrock was met with huge critical acclaim at the tail end of last year, the clamour and anticipation for another instalment from Hannes Bieger has reached fever pitch and, at last, the wait is over. The masterful Berlin-based producer returns with an absolute treasure, titled A Million Souls, featuring the stunning vocals of Francesca Lombardo, and yet another example of his spine-tingling electronic wizardry in the form of Echelon.

A Million Souls floats on an utterly hypnotising, pulsating groove as it spawns irresistible acidic hooks before dropping down to unveil and carry the heart-melting voice of Francesca Lombardo. Italian-born and classically trained, Francesca has carved her own defiantly unique path in electronic music, one that represents her multi-disciplinary musical background and transcends the dance floor via an inimitable emotional narrative that she injects into every project she touches as a renowned DJ, live artist, producer, remixer, musician, vocalist and label boss.

Following his single ’There Is Peace Beyond’, which saw support from Lane 8, Dosem, and Edu Imbernon, prodigious producer Nox Vahn (FKA Fairchild) now releases his double-cut 'Brainwasher / Walking With Giants’.

A standout track of Above & Beyond’s recent warm up set at ABGT350, with its foreboding spoken word verses and incomparably dark builds, ‘Brainwasher’ is set to be a DJ staple this winter. Described as “an ode to dance music, partying, and clubbing as a form of escape from the Brainwashers” (i.e. one's daily distractions), Nox Vahn’s latest captures the emotion of late night warehouse raves and foggy memories. 

Similarly imbued with his characteristically ominous sound design, ‘Walking With Giants’ sees tribal toms bounce against drones and vocal chops, further illustrating why the the American DJ has garnered support from some of the biggest names in the dance music industry; Sander Van Doorn, Jonas Rathsman, Paul Oakenfold and BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong to name a few.
