Public Transportation //GTH is a project by Amsterdam-based Mick van Dijk aka cccore and Vanja Rakic. Triggered by one particular Sunday afternoon mixing session where two entered the void and chose to stay, the project is to serve as a vehicle for expanding on a mutual sonic telepathy, directed towards reaching LSD-like induced states of grinding chaos. The outcome: duo melts down 80’s esoteric drone, noise and industrial with endlessly repetitive percussive mayhem of freetekno, hardcore, techno, ricocheting altogether within the walls of a psychedelic labyrinth.
 
The recorded event happened as part of Pacific Ondergronds Halloween Fest on the night of October 28, 2022 in the small room of 1900, transforming the hidden corner of Skatecafe into an all-or-nothing sweatbox. The footage is a result of a collaboration with two other multidisciplinary artists, Sophie Voogd and Juli Kiriiak who meticulously covered two angles of the room using VHS cameras hooked to an analog video mixer. Visible only through a hole in the center of a 5x3 m bleach bacteria artwork, Public Transportation //GTH shook the room for 4 hours straight.
