Beginner (Be Gentle) - Van Luup

Van Luup started as a DJ back in 1997.His career as a Club DJ started just after he resigned from mobile DJ'ing. Working as resident DJ in a leading pub called “The Den” , and then went by the best bars and nightclubs in Sri Lanka: The Mix bar, Lords ,My Kind of Place (Taj Samudra),TABU Ultra Lounge. He has also taken his talents to some of Middle East leading club nights as well, The legendary Admirals (Ritz Carlton), Cloudnyn, the Qube & the Pearl Lounge. .. Van has warmed up & finished of for the likes of Avicii, Paul Thomas, Da Fresh, Jon Pern (Bodyrox), Paul Harris(Dirty Vegas), Dipesh Parmer, Richard Dinsdale, Nick Blare, DJ Snipz, Tony M, Richard Maurry, Shane Kehoe, Outwork, Uberchic, Gordon Edge, Paul Dieghton just to name a few. ..and also is the warm up DJ for all MOS/ Housexy events in Sir Lanka. Van has also been busy as a producer for Hotta-Fire Records (Major) His style comes from a broad taste in music from Hip Hop to Dance, these days he's spinning a full flavored mix of big room, driving, funky, electro, tech, progressive house music, winning the crowd over time and time again and not forgetting a huge fan of Retro Music (Nothing like bringing the groove back!) .. Van has been spending more time in the studio producing new vibes and remixes as he is planning to lunch his 1st CD very soon under COLOMBO HOUSE MAFIA. "Sexual" Van Luup & Shiyam and latest Single with Dj Shiyam Ft DJ Rakee under COLOMBO HOUSE MAFIA is a Massive hit in Colombo at the moment. Watch this space, it’s just only gonna get better.........
