Success is what we strive for, but I wonder if there’s more

Under Pressure

To celebrate her 20 years of music production, Nadine de Macedo, a talented producer based in Germany (https://www.nadinedemacedo.com/), had the idea to invite around thirty musicians and producers to remix a selection of her best songs. I had the immense privilege of being part of this project, and Nadine entrusted me with "Frozen," a song written in 2006 and performed by the amazing Vera M. Van Bergh. Originally a trance song, "Frozen" immediately captivated me with Vera's beautiful voice. I chose to highlight this voice through a Modern Disco interpretation. I hope you enjoy this remix, and I thank you for your support through your likes and reposts.

The song combines gentle melancholy with modern, electronic accents. The acoustic guitar forms the core of the song, supported by light electronic elements that enhance the emotions while creating a contemporary atmosphere. The voice is soft and a little rough, permeated with a bittersweet melancholy that takes the listener into a nostalgic world.

VANRAY, aka Pete Long, is a solo acoustic artist based in West Yorkshire, recording and performing original material and covers at venues across the UK and beyond.
