Around 1987 Richard Hensen got introduced to club music from London and within a year he got hooked to house music and started playing under the name Vanriksem at several venues and parties.
Next to playing at several events and parties he shares his own mixes on Soundcloud and is a regular guest dj on international radio shows .
Since 2016 he produces his own tracks under the name Vanriksem .
