Paul Vass, professionally known as WHY💤 (WHY Sleep), is a House DJ and producer who has made significant contributions to the Electronic Dance Music community in cities such as Charlotte, North Carolina, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Seattle, Washington. His passion for music, which began in 1998, has driven WHY💤 to dedicate himself to his craft, honing his skills and establishing a strong presence in the local music scene. 

       Between 2012 and 2015, he became a regular performer at some of the premier clubs in Charlotte, North Carolina, and emerged as a key figure in the city's underground music scene. Currently revitalizing his career in Southwest Florida, WHY💤 has quickly risen in his profession, performing at esteemed venues such as Saigon Blonde, TK Lounge, and The Warehouse. Additionally, he has had the honor of being invited to perform at four different festivals, including Woodkey Fest, The Cannabis Awards, and Essential Freaks Season 3.

We are a record label based out of St. Petersburg, Florida pushing underground club & warehouse sounds in the techno x melodic spectrum.

Founded in 2016 in Tampa, we have expanded our outposts around the world, with events & mgmt located across Florida, Michigan, Puerto Rico, & Mexico—we are a creative haven for artists to express themselves in their purest form.
