This is my track that was created for the Materia Collective (http://www.materiacollective.com/) project NIBEL: Ori And The Blind Forest Remixed. The album releases on March 18th, a week after the 1 year anniversary of this charming game.

It is a remix of "Naru, Embracing the Light" by Gareth Coker (https://twitter.com/garethcoker), and features my efforts to fuse the lighthearted writing found in the original composition along with chiptune elements created using Plogue's Chipsounds (http://www.plogue.com/products/chipsounds/).

Naru, Embracing the Pulse (Remix from Ori and the Blind Forest)

A different interpretation of Gareth Coker's "The Ancestral Trees," imagined as though the forest is in a peaceful slumber. Very sparse, earthy rhythm over a warm string bed sets the tone before the main melody joins in, light and vibrant as the game's hero. The strings then pick up in intensity and take over the melody as the forest awakens to his presence.
