A self-described “truther,” he draws conceptual fuel from the alternative-history ideas of Jaydreamerz, Guy Anderson and Jeff Snyder2, turning those fringe perspectives into shimmering, other-worldly soundscapes.
Launched in January 2025, Vardath is the latest independent producer who treats artificial intelligence as a creative co-pilot rather than a gimmick. By feeding field recordings, modular synth phrases and text-prompted virtual choirs into custom machine-learning chains, he coaxes out music that hovers between glitch, ambient and avant-pop—a place where ghostly harmonies bloom out of fractured beats, and a single sample can be stretched into a cathedral of sound.
Vardath’s worldview is as unconventional as his workflow.
