There are only bright stars in the constellation Cosmic Dreams, a three-track EP created by LA-based producers Sarkis Mikael and Epstein.

Antares is pure movement, a luminous exploration that rushes through space and time, punctuated with wailing riffs echoing over Saturn-silver synths. Conjuring a special type of magic, Apollo launches you to otherworldly realms, complex layers of organic instruments adding to the sidereal vibe of the cut. 'Solstice No. 9 is meteoric, steadily building into symphonic peaks and shimmering crescendos which burst and fade into embers.

At the edge of the physical form, where the sky stops and space begins, the veil is thin. Time bends, we meld into oneness. Pause here, and listen. Cosmic Dreams will take you there.

More rather cinematic music with field recordings and a just a hint of dub techno. I seem to be being pulled in this direction lately.

I was going to call this The Hour Before The Dawn.
I even had the artwork prepared but the more I tweaked and listened the more I realised that's not what this track is about at all.

As I played it to my wife; my best critic, it struck me  around the 2-minute mark that it sounded like the sun breaking through the clouds so that's the name I've gone with.

'Fuck Varg' is Varg2™—the artist formerly known as Varg—at his most chaotic and ornate. Streamlining a plethora of techniques and motifs into his inimitable and fearless style, there's reckless charm and misanthropy turbulently sequenced to perfection.

The EP comes with baggage. The German metal band Varg issued a cease and desist letter earlier in the year to the artist now known as Varg2™. It is an obvious enough move for a band that cites pagans as an influence and theme, but it is a move that nevertheless affirmed a preference for ceasing to exist. 

Charting a route through the cybergothic psychedelia of the opening track, to the wistful anthemic charge of 'Thirst (Dressed in Nothing But UV Paint and Biodegradable Glitter)', and finally landing on the peak dead-eyed sermon of 'Parasites (Honest Music for Dishonest People) ft. G19',  the digital EP's presentation rounds off on a lean and severe remix from VTSS.

It's an EP of restlessness, ruins, and ecstatic keyboard mashing because there's not an emoji that's demonic enough.

Because Sharing Is caring, here is one of the highlights of Hernan Cattaneo's SunsetStrip Buenos Aires, a very simple mashup that contains mainly one of my remixes from last year i did for Sebastian Sellares on Or Two Strangers  and some parts from all time progressive classic John Creamer and Stephan K feat Nkemdi "I wish you were here".  So basically Hernan played it and a 18.000 crowd went off :D
