BBC Radio 1's Wind Down Presents: Tim Green

Arina Mur started her career in DJing some years ago and has already been noted by several successful releases on such labels as Akbal Music, Truesounds Music, Anjunadeep, Seven Villas label, The Purr Music, Manual Music. 

Her sets are the harmony of melody, consisting of bright house releases filled with deep sound and magnetic energy. 
Arina’s first release on Truesounds Music label received great support from such famous 
musicians as Nick Warren, Soul Button, Nicolas Rada, Cid Inc., Igor Marijuan, Gab Rhome, etc. 

Her Remix of Hernan Cerbello’s "Meloman" was released on the Truesounds Music and has been 
at the top of the Beatport Deep house top-100 and Beatport Hype charts for several weeks. 

The latest track “Magic Wand” was released on the famous label Anjunadeep, showing the new level of the artist – right among musicians who are at the forefront of Organic-house music scene 

Over the past year Arina played her sets in top Russian clubs (e.g. Gazgolder, Propaganda) and abroad (Hungary, Montenegro, Slovakia, Belarus and Cyprus). 

Arina’s tracks are in playlists of famous artists: Lee Burridge, Nick Warren, Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, Modd, Roy Rosenfeld, Nicolas Rada, Tim Green.

Italian duo, Madraas, is known for a unique sound ranging in genres consisting of crisp grooves and hard hitting basslines.  They were one of the first on the Selectors Series, and we couldn't be more excited to have them back. We have been wanting to bring Serbian DJ/Producer Boris Mijolic aka Mass Digital onboard for a while now. Hailing from Serbia, Boris grew up gaining inspiration from music from a very early age. Exploring his father's tapes and later vinyl, he has always believed in the power of melodies. This clearly reflects in his productions, which are some of the best in the vast world of Organic House.

Experimenting with soft piano, pads and strings and infusing them with a perfectly crafted melody, Boris has been able to create some magical tracks which have found home on renowned record labels like Kindisch, All Day I Dream, Hoomidas, Sol Selectas to name a few. His music has been a staple in the sets of stalwarts like Above & Beyond, Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo and many more. Each and every time I’ve played music at Burning man I felt privileged to do so. Its a truly special place full of truly special people.Sunrise. Sunset. Smiles. Tears of pure joy. 

There, i’m never one. I’m many. Connected. Connected to everything and everyone. One of the threads connecting me is music. Over the years the music has become a time machine that’s marked magical moments on my journey.  To hear it again allows me to travel back in time to those moments.

What should you do throughout your life? Many people think a tree, a house and a child will suffice, others compile never-ending bucket lists involving everything from high dives into water to eating scorpions and a bunch of other crazy stuff. A third group work their asses off to earn as much money as possible and end up dying without enjoying their money, some others make a conscious decision to not spend their money for their children to enjoy it later, while a different group of people choose not to have kids at all. And then there’s those who just want to travel all the time, discover new worlds, meet new people, try new foods, and never plan anything. Today, however, the latter are unable to do what they do best and are instead traveling inwards, exploring themselves and their surroundings, hoping that something good will come out of that too. So no matter how fatal we might perceive the title @timgreen has come up with for his set – "Last Train Home” – it can also be viewed as the beginning of something else.
