Nikoli is about sound and motion, movement and frequency. Creating sets and soundscapes that match the mood and tone of the environment, Nikoli plays many diverse style and genres. Musical from an early age, Nikoli was drawn to electronic music ten years ago when he saw what djs and producers were doing with new technologies. Cutting his teeth in the progressive house scene, he quickly rose to play some along some of the industry’s legends. Recent years have seen him explode onto the downtempo world beat and dub scene playing festivals all over Ontario and Quebec.

The Hungarian-born Jozef Kugler’s interest for music dates back to his early childhood. Classical guitar, drums and violin were the instruments, which made him acquainted to music and this developed to a bond of friendship.
He was influenced by the music of Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Alphaville, Prince, Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Flash and other great performers. After he had taken short trips to learn about DnB and House, finally he found his own style marked with the elements of Nu-Disco, Deep-House and Progressive-House Music. Vocation, hard work, open-mindedness are key factors of Jozef’s music career and development. The well-known Hungarian producer, Coldfish encouraged his artistic unfolding.
