Variant Electronic welcome back Dalosso for his first full release on the label, after the success of "Mech 2.3" we had to commission more for this great up and coming artist, and provide he did, 3 immensely banging originals from the winding synth in "Soldaachip" to the amazingly formed "Data A" not to forget a touch of acid with "Apeldoorn", then to make the EP even better we brought in one half of Bone Skippers Producing dynamo Huck Farper, the man of steel, never mind superman, his mix of "Data A" will implode your skull so be careful. Also on remix duties is label owner Luke Creed with a slower but just as tough version of "Soldaachip". All around a great EP and a pleasure to have for our 8th official release.

Joining us for PDR020 is Glasgow's Sonic X. A new and very young producer looking to make his way in the techno scene. His identity a secret but to a few people.

He's delivered 2 original tracks and they are backed by remixes of the highest quality.

First up is Sonic Boom. A hard hitting track, with its acid and old skool rave stabs.

Remixing Sonic Boom is Variance head honcho, Scenedrone. This is his first outing on PDR but I'm sure it won't be the last. His remix takes the track in a different direction, with more if a groove to it but equally as effective.

Next up is Dance of Doom. A short and hammering affair.

On remix duties here is A Birth Defect, back on PDR after their brilliant release for PDR007. They take the track into more mechanical territory in their signature style.

Taking Root is the culmination of 5 years of hard work with Variance. We are delighted to present this exclusive limited edition Vinyl to commemorate the occasion. We are beyond ecstatic to welcome Lag to the Variance ranks, his collab with Vlaysin ‘Sirena’ is a floor destroyer, a perfect A1 on our debut Vinyl.
A2 is Vlaysin with a solo track “Off To Nowhere”, it makes sense that Vlaysin had two on our first vinyl after his succession of releases on Variance. 
B1 is the ever impressive Paul Birken, another Variance veteran, and he has provided the goods once again, with the immense Hash Rate, textbook machine-funk from the master of the machines.
