Lakatoi is an experimental producer and musician based in Naarm Melbourne. Working on various projects through the years such as Kandere and FAMILI he has been hailed as an innovator who weaves his own unique sound into all he touches. He has performed at several festivals around Australia alongside international acts such as Leonce, Nozinja, Asmara, Lotic, Moor Mother, Elysia Crampton and Gaika.

Drawing inspiration from around the globe yet uniquely fusing it with his traditional culture and way of life, Seeka’s conscious lyricism and raw flow sets him apart from the average rapper.
He views his craft in a similar way his ancestors have been passing down stories for generations - art for your ears, music for your soul.

He has performed live at countless events over the years, including the Share The Spirit Festival at Treasury Gardens, Welcome To Country Multicultural Jam at Federation Square and across Melbourne for NAIDOC week and White Ribbon Against Domestic Violence fundraisers.
Along the way he’s shared the stage with names like Spit Syndicate, Mantra, Complete and SK Simeon,Cormega and featured on Triple J’s The Hip Hop Show with Hau Latukefu and weekly on Koori Radio.
In 2016, Seeka released The Late Ambiance mixtape, a slick mix of hip-hop, electronic and roots music, featuring rappers, vocalists and producers from across the Pacific. Recently released songs with Brazilian producers El Blat, Walla C. In 2020 Seeka also released a collaborative album with fellow Cairns raised Melbourne artists Gekkz, Uncle Red and Nem The Visionary called Jungle To City, which speaks on the experiences of the artists growth on their journey from Cairns to Melbourne.
