Transactions is a hypnotic dive into the moral economy of modern life where the favors, misbehaviors, and unspoken debts circle through our lives like currency. Anchored by a pulsing drum-and-bass groove and swirling synth layers, the song drifts between confession and reflection, questioning whether good deeds can ever truly balance the scales.

Beneath The Ice opens Sorry’s Not Enough in stark, fragile form — just voice and acoustic guitar, with soft delay giving each word a sense of distance and chill. A touch of piano and viola drift in midway, thawing the edges for a moment before retreating back into the cold. It’s a song about distance — emotional, physical, and the slow freeze between two people who’ve forgotten how to reach one another. Une musique que je jouais en live pour conclure l'acte 2 de La Princesse de Clèves par Magali Montoya. Cette pièce reprenait en intégral le roman du même nom . Durée 8 heures ! Et c'était très beau. Musique issue dans sa quasi totalité d'une improvisation sur la célèbre suite d'accord des canons de Pachelbel , improvisation que j'ai ensuite intégralement retranscrite. Les racines rock reprennent le dessus sur la 2eme partie dès que s'enclenche la pédale fuzz !!

Hi, I'm Shaun from North East UK. VARISONIK isn't a band but a solo project that began in early 2022. Back then I had a strong desire to create my own style of alt-rock and alt-pop songs, and found the freedom of going alone is a bonus for creating new songs, as I get to write, compose, play instruments, and produce all of my music and promo videos, which is a lot of work at times but I love doing it.
