Yin and Yang (n.) - the concept of duality forming a whole. A fundamental premise in Chinese philosophy now transposed to the electronic dance industry through the creation of Proton "Editions". Through encyclopaedic knowledge of the 4,000+ strong Proton roster of labels Tripp Baronner has envisioned a new concept of the principle of seemingly polar opposites, coming together as interconnected and independent universal forces - life and death, the dark and the light: one complete entity. 

From a passion for underground progressive house at opposite ends of the audio spectrum - the deep, shadowy atmospheres to the blissful, shimmering melodies, "Yin" and "Yang" were born in an effort to represent this phenomenon in musical form. Each release will provide a single remix of an existing Proton roster track for two inextricably linked labels in the form of a light (Yang) and dark (Yin) edition. Released on the same day, a strong contrast in styles will thus serve to complement each other and nourish the whole.

Matías Carafa nació el 18 de diciembre de 1982 en la ciudad de Rosario, Argentina. Es uno de los productores mas destacados de la ciudad de Rosario.
Desde muy joven sintió un gran interés por la música. En su adolescencia conoció nuevos géneros y sonidos, dejándose impresionar por estilos como: Techno, Dance, Eurodance, personificados por Dj Dero, Dr. Alban y La Bouche entre otros. Años mas tarde, cuando comenzó a frecuentar las pistas electrónicas, Franco Cinelli y Nico Purman toman un gran protagonismo en el rumbo musical de Matias, ya que por ellos despertó su interés por las mezclas. En el año 2005 consiguió su primer par de bandejas y empezó a participar en las primeras fiestas privadas con sus allegados. Finalmente artistas consagrados mundialmente como Sasha, John Digweed, Satoshi Tomiee y Hernan Cattaneo terminan influenciando su rumbo artístico, siendo hoy uno de los Dj's icono del Progressive House y Techno Progresivo en la ciudad de Rosario. Su primer evento público fue en el año 2007, en el club "La Ruta del Bacalao"  Gracias a su excelente desempeño, manteniendo siempre su groove característico, le ofrecieron la residencia en Big Jump, durante la temporada de verano 2007-2008. Y aquí su nombre comenzó a ser más conocido dentro del circulo de Dj's. 
En el 2008 le otorgan la residencia de uno de los boliches más importantes de la ciudad: Shambala, y mientras seguía con esa residencia, pinchaba también como residente en el after hour mas reconocido y legendario de la ciudad "El Sótano". 
La carrera de Matias Carafa fue creciendo considerablemente. Durante todos estos años, compartió cabina con artistas como Marcelo Vassami, Nicholas van orton, John Digweed, Nick Muir, 16 bit Lolitas, Layo & Bushwacka!, Franco Cinelli, Jerome Isma, John Aquaviva, Matthew Dekay, Thomas Penton, Oliver Giacomoto, Sander Kleinenberg, Dosuk, Cid inc,  Rich Curtis, entre otros.
Actualmente tiene producciones en importantes sellos discográficos como, Just Movement, Dopamine, Suffused, Baroque, Balkan Connection, Mistique Music, Dushe, Tiefblau, entre muchos mas.

Alex Efe is a Uruguayan DJ and music producer based in Montevideo, passionate and dedicated to the constant progress and evolution of electronic music, focusing on the House genre and its variations.

Deeply influenced by Global Underground through the work of renowned artists such as Sasha, Nick Warren, and Digweed, among others, his innate curiosity and restlessness as a self-taught musician—always exploring new formats, sounds, textures, and musical techniques—has led him throughout his life on a personal journey of self-discovery, healing, and evolution.

His music has received support from various artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Weird Sounding Dude, Simply City, Marcelo Vasami, DJ Rudy, Cream, Mayro, and Ricky Ryan. He has released tracks on labels including Electronic Groove Records, Lake Underground, Starlight Group, Future Avenue, AH Digital, and OneDotSixTwo. This has driven his regional expansion with performances in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Brazil—one of his main goals being to share his musical expression worldwide.

Since 2011, he has led the Clubbing Mvd project alongside Diego Berrondo as well as Progressive House Uruguay, organizing events in his home country while promoting and inspiring new talent.

Walking the fine line of trance, house and progressive, we find Dutch DJ and producer Ruben de Ronde right in the middle of all things. No borders can stop this talent from touching the very edge of different styles, from the trancy ‘Forever In Our Hearts’ to the deeper, arousing progressive ‘Grands Boulevards’ and big room tech-track ‘Stoer’.

Since 2005, he’s poured out his sounds straight from his own label, ‘Statement’, as well as working extensively with Armada Music. A slew of remixes have made his name rise amongst the A-class, with his interpretation on works by Cosmic Gate, Way Out West, Push, Aly & Fila, W&W, Sean Tyas and many more. In 2008, his first solo-production, ‘Republique’, became a Top 20 hit in the Beatport chart and got the ‘Captivating’ stamp by the renowned DJ Mag. Ever since, he’s had no time to look back and faces the future with the release of ‘Noir’, ‘Natural’ and the most recent single with Robert Nickson ‘Superlative’ on Armin van Buuren’s label ’A State of Trance’.
The ongoing support for his productions include a fan base going by the name of Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Cosmic Gate, Markus Schulz, Judge Jules, Fedde LeGrand and Roger Sanchez alike.

Ruben has swept music lovers right off their feet with DJ sets all over the World. But he manages to do just the same with his bi-weekly radio show ‘The Sound of Holland’. On www.afterhours.fm , listeners of his show have the chance to vote for their favourite track under the ‘Blog Burner’ tag.
