Alt rock band formed in the forge of Lansing Michigan, hardened by cold snow and high local obesity rates. The Rival consists of Bobby Halick on lead vocal and bass, Josh Maul on Lead Guitar, Justin Muffet on rhythm guitar, and Justin Fox on the drums. The Rival has opened for acts like Foxy Shazam, Middle Class Rut, IAMDYNAMITE, and New Politics. Currently the band is not active due to Bobby and Justin M moving to different parts of the country (screw those guys right?!), but the unfinished album tracks are now available here on Soundcloud!
