Who is Teejay Johnson?

Teejay Johnson is a female lyricist hailing from Richmond, VA. As a child, this artist began rhyming for elementary school plays and poetry competitions. When she came of age, writing became therapeutic. Most rappers are forced to overcome adversity, which translates into their music, Teejay was no different. At the age of 14 she was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. For an adolescent, it can be very difficult to understand the complexities of a mental health disorder, but Teejay wrote through her manic and depression episodes. She learned to utilize the negative energy that she could not rid herself of. After graduating high school, Teejay became heavily involved with the local music scene in Richmond, Virginia. Her four track debut EP, My Perception, which was released on October 1st, 2014. Following her debut release, Teejay toured the south east from her home state of Richmond, VA to Atlanta, GA. Her stops included The Edgar Allan Poe Museum, The Broadberry, Charlottesville Pride, and even opening for Love & Hip Hop star, Rasheeda. Two years after her debut EP, Teejay released her sophomore EP, Love Lines. This project included the single, Rainbows, which received air-time in three different countries. Teejay is now working on a project, that includes a new summer release, Way Up. Way Up can be described as an ode to the haters, this track is filled with raw emotion dancing on a wavy trap beat. This single will be released on July 19th, 2018 on all major streaming sites. Following the single release, the full project, Drastic Changes, will be released in late summer.

KRISALMIGHTY's real name is Christopher Scott Ware. He was Born September 21st , 1991 in Richmond , Va,  at Richmond Memorial hospital. He sought out his music career beginning at the early stages of his life, at the tender age of seven, he found his talent to come up  with catchy choruses and melodies through his keyboard he played with in his childhood. At that time he had no idea that he had a gift to sing, song write and make hip-hop music, but as he joined the choir at his church he developed structure in his voice and analyzed his peers. Later on as he became a teenager he noticed he really had a love and absolute passion for music, he strayed off from the church and found himself with his talents, he began to perform at clubs such as; Tropical cafe', Harlem cafe', Have a nice day, club aurora, club encore, etc. He also landed a spot to perform in front of def jam, cte, dtp and some other local showcases in the Richmond, Va area. Has worked with S.O.D.M.G artist ' A.goff ' and many other various artist. His music is inspired by his struggle and upbringing as well as stories from his past. also sound is inspired by people such as; Nas, Tupac, Biggie, Jay-z, Big-l, EMINEM, DR. dre, eazy - e, Max-b, Lil Wayne, b.o.b, most def, kanye west, and ,many more. He describes his sound as; ' innovative  ' and diverse. says; ' i make music for my people, if you not of them than you are lost in my music. ' He sets out to make a living from his music and cultivating this music industry a different way.
