Founded by Glasgow based music promoter Paul Downie (Pelmet Nites, Save BBC Introducing campaign) and musician/artist manager Vicki Cole (Randolph's Leap), Comets & Cartwheels is an exciting new Scottish record label project for 2012, focusing around the digital and physical release of singles, EPs and albums primarily within the indie/folk vein

Our initial roster consists of Quickbeam and Endor, with more acts to be announced soon.

The Heavy Metal Buffet is a non-profit organisation run by a bunch of metalheads in Shetland with the aim of putting on gigs and promoting the local music scene. 

Our podcasts feature local and international rock and metal; events in and around Shetland; post gig exploits and reviews; and updates as we prepare for the next year’s festival and upcoming gigs.

TYCI is a collective run by women. We have a website where we write about things which affect us and put together features on art, theatre, music, film, politics, current affairs and most things in between.

We have a monthly clubnight at Bloc (www.bloc.ru) where we put on cool lady bands, artists, MCs and DJs, and where we launch our monthly zine. We also have a monthly show on Subcity Radio (www.subcity.org).
