I only really got this account up and running again after the closure of Snafu, my mixes and other stuff are all elsewhere on the internet. 

I play more commercial stuff as OJ Smooth, and i play darker stuff as The Nightlark.

Run by Steven from The Little Kicks the Dirty Hearts Club is now a one off special night of live music/ DJs which takes place in Aberdeen.  The night was a bit of a legend of its time while running formerly as a weekly club night from 26/01/2006 until 25/08/2011.

At the point of ending as a weekly night in its 5th year in August 2011, the night had had previous guests including Frightened Rabbit, Errors, The Rumblestrips, The View, Juan Maclean, Holy Ghost, MSTRKRFT, Optimo, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Stanley Odd, Miaoux Miaoux, Admiral Fallow, The Twilight Sad, The Presets, XXXChange, People Under The Stairs, The Chapman Family and many more..

This page is a collection of all the mixtapes we have done for the Dirty Hearts Club night. Expect new mixes occasionally when we have time/ inspiration!

Following the weekly night period the night took some time off and in Spring 2012 reappeared as a once monthly feature for some time right through until Spring 2013. Along the way and since then there has been occasional Xmas specials, festival shows at T in The Park & Wizard Festival and special one off parties/ warm up slots DJing with several other like minded DJs.

All in all DHC DJs have shared booths with: Optimo, Hot Chip, Franz Ferdinand,Todd Terje, 2ManyDJs, Aeroplane, Juan Maclean, MSTRKRFT, The Twelves, Calvin Harris, Zane Lowe, Mystery Jets, Holy Ghost, XXXChange and Liquid Liquid among others - here's to many more good night to come!

Endurance, isolation, healing, hope and family. Five friends, 10 years on; the world turns at a very different pace for IndianRedLopez. Recorded at infrequent and opportunistic intersections of the twists and turns of their various lives, 'Results of My Dreaming' examines their worlds through a series of snapshots encapsulating the loves, losses and lived experiences of the band over the last decade since their 2013 sophomore release Commit.

Arriving somewhere between anthemic pop, alternative rock, and experimental electronic music without fully finding a home in any specific genre. The band have continued to expand their sonic palette, whilst refining their approach to collective songwriting.

Synthetic soundscapes are pinned to a rhythmic backbone of bass and drums by powerful, yet delicate guitars. Songs like 'Firing Line' and 'So Help My Soul' hit hard and fast; there is more space to swing in numbers such as 'All Time' and 'Last Year', whilst the glitter balls and strobe lights are summoned on 'You & Me' and 'Obstacles'. IndianRedLopez return with Results Of My Dreaming.
