About Vassilis Papadopoulos:
Vassilis was born in central Greece. He started music relatively early on in his life. By the age of ten he was playing the trumpet and at nineteen he won a scholarship competition to study in England. Later on he persued his studies in Germany, taking up percussion as well. 
He was employed full-time as a percussion-player in opera-houses and leading symphony orchestras while travelling extensively in Europe, Japan, USA, South-America and China.
Lectureship in a "Musikhochschule" (academy of music) in Germany.
From very early on in his life Vassilis was intensively involved in Jazz. Now, after a long and succesful career in classical music he has returned to his old love ... Jazz!
