Download it and listen and give it away, remix it, whatever. It will be up all day till midnight :-) and so will I. Thing is... I wanna talk about middle kid syndrome. The older sibling threw stones at mellow yellows and the youngest well, he tore down a statue.

I am 80's kid. I overheard this a lot from adults. " The youth of today are so [insert derogatory statement about our apathy, purposelessness, sagging pants, manners, confusion, lack of gratitude for the struggle, ect.] "

I remember those days. Sitting in symposiums soaking in fashionable detachment longing for something, frustrated by everything. We did'nt have names for the things that choked us. We hadn't yet identified the statues outside and within and if they had to bloody fall , what would must can happen now? Leaning on that statue for my model c accent, and the copper rusted taste in my mouth if I told my white friends that things were broken? Phrases like ' white privilege' were perculiar like green moss on statues. Not dinner table talk. Nope. Maybe we weren't as bold as the beautiful braves, the #mustfalls. But our unnamed untamed angst, was definately not purposeless.

The desperation for a struggle, for a collective purpose, for a reason to die has maybe led us to this?
