Felix Benedikt, alias Alpha Tracks, is a producer based in Vienna, Austria.

At the beginning of the millennium, he received his basic musical education under the wings of Erdem Tunakan at Cheap Records and started DJing. From 2012 till 2018 Benedikt worked at TONGUES, a Viennese record store with an in-house studio, where 2016 the project Alpha Tracks was born. The first release on Erdem Tunakan's reactivated label Morbid has had strong international resonance. The music of Alpha Tracks is mainly produced live on analog machines, often with different guest musicians, focussing less on technical fetishism than on live dynamics of studio collaborations. The result is a sound that refers to the rave era of the early nineties. Alpha Tracks blithely ignores tempo limits or taste doctrines. Aesthetic taboos or even fragments of often maligned genres, are not picked up as a retro fetish but are folded into the contemporary oeuvre with playful Viennese charm.

Felix recently teamed up with Filip Storvseen (also known under the alias Oprofessionell and as one of the founders of Norwegian label UTE ) for a new musical project called KINETA

Due to infectious distinct high tempo groove with dissonant synth sequences, he quickly rose as one of the true pushers of the new wave of groovy techno. This resulted in various releases: TWR72's OOM Records, Fixon's ANAOH and his biggest release to date on the mighty Klockworks together with VIL. The next hour is the definition of the CRAVO sound, so get ready to sweat!

As a DJ, Introversion curates diverse sets that blend playful and forceful techno with a selection of new, unreleased tracks, and timeless classics. Renowned for his ability to strike a balance between powerful kick drums and atmospheric moments, he captivates audiences globally with his seamless transitions and impeccable track selection.Introversion has established himself as a global touring DJ and producer within a short time as a result of several well respected releases and playing at some of the scene’s most remarkable venues such as Berghain Berlin, FOLD London, Faust Seoul, Mondo Madrid or Smolna Warsaw. His breakthrough came when “Dystopia” hit the shelves in 2017. The diverse three-track techno EP on ARTS is already considered a modern classic. This was followed by regular releases on ARTS, Materia, Emerald and remixes for Ellen Allien (BPitch), Nicolas Bougaieff (NovaMute), Blue Hour (Blue Hour Music) and SHDW & Obscure Shape (From Another Mind). In 2024 his journey continues with his own Label Makatao leading to his first full length album. Shockwave's imminent.

Our Number #008 features Introversion, a music producer and DJ from Berlin. His sets and tracks are super diverse, packed with endless variations of techno sounds. 
Starting off with bells and drones, his set immediately sucks you in. It's hypnotic and groovy, gradually building up until Introversion breaks it with melodies in the middle of his set. Then it gets dubby and housy, revealing his background in breaks/DnB. Wrapping up with some ravey techno and a melodic ending, his set covers all sides, making techno an ever-changing experience.

For some, career choices come naturally, as was the case with Introversion: "I never planned a music career, it just happened. I started making music in my early
childhood." Now based in Berlin, Introversion has established himself as a producer, sound designer, and DJ, influencing the scene with his distinctive, pioneering style.
Drums are central to Introversion’s productions, having been the first instrument he learned in his youth. Many of his tracks feature breakbeat elements, defining his sound. His work often blends dark, '90s-inspired techno with melancholic touches. He skillfully incorporates wild synth stabs and full-force drums, balanced by classic trance chords, creating a fresh and invigorating sound. As a DJ, Introversion blends playful, forceful techno, drawing on new or unreleased material alongside carefully selected classics. His sets focus on finding the perfect balance between severe kick drums and atmospheric moments.
In a short time, Introversion has gained global recognition through acclaimed
releases and performances at iconic venues like Berghain Berlin, Institut für Zukunft Leipzig, Faust Seoul, and FOLD London. His breakthrough came with the 2017 EP "Dystopia," now considered a modern techno classic.
Following this success, he released music on ARTS, Materia, and Emerald, and
remixed tracks for artists like Ellen Allien, Nicolas Bougaieff, Blue Hour, and SHDW
& Obscure Shape. In 2024 he launched his own label Makatao with the solo EP “Sea Of Life”.
