Up with a shape-shifting electronic and techno set, the Tbilisi-based DJ and Morevi Records affiliate flaunts the breadth of his talent through a versatile selection and impeccable mixing maneuvers. The result is a two-hour jaunt into the more techno-friendly side of his very own multiverse. From springy uptempo rides to detours into more nuanced, dubbed-out sonics, through genre-unbound meanderings and muscular house flexions, the wide scope of Boya’s mix keeps beckoning us towards the unknown with every bar. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, young DJ and producer Decoder specialises in minimalistic sounds with a sci-fi touch. Decoder’s musical upbringing in which he played the drums and became accustomed to rhythm has paved the way for his musical career. Decoder has already established his space within the scene, with his tracks being played by the likes of legends Jeff Mills and Richie Hawtin. His tracks have been released on notable labels such as AMTK+ and Molecular.

In this recording, I set a specific intention and choose my tracks selectively according to the sphere I wanted to create which deviates from a usual peak time set. A sphere coming from an introspective and emotional reflection of this year - feeling deeper aligned with oneself and the creative mind.

Here the fourth episode of EWX — Transition Mix Series, a special 2-hours DJ Set, paying a tribute to the House Music spirit.

The concept behind the mix series is to present personal different musical directions or just music makes me move. It is healing to me to also dig and play different moods, it helps on having an healthy and wide perspective — I want to listen to and to believe in what makes me feel real emotions without strictly labelling them.

I often reflect on how lucky we are to have new great records every day + decades of this music available to us and how precious all of this it is. Lot of gratitude to all the artists and music lovers who continue to create, support, and keep the movement alive. We all part of it!

Transition House Mix — 004 (November 2025)

Chiming in for Bassiani’s anniversary party on October 10th comes an exceptional talent from the Asturian coast and Architectural’s third appearance in the Podcast series. Since 2004, Juan Rico’s been holding the line as Reeko, a stand-in for blistering industrial rhythms, founder of Mental Disorder and founding partner of Spanish techno bastion PoleGroup. Come 2010, a new incarnation emerged under the stage name Architectural, a faceless and assumedly authorless variant of his that played on rich textures, cinematic tones and a heavier focus on the architecture of sound itself. In the studio he manipulates and records sounds in real time, allowing for a greater degree of spontaneity than working with standalone parts would otherwise permit. No longer incognito, Architectural offers a brand of ambient techno charged through with Jazz and references from the world of film that pulsates and slithers, crackles and shifts. From his earliest releases on his eponymous Architectural imprint, through Semantica, Non Series and others, his music has established itself as a touchstone for avant-garde techno centred on body and dancefloor, and his future’s sure to keep delivering more of his monolith beats. Bassiani Podcast 287 is a truly impressive addition to the series, a sweeping three-hour montage of gritty textures, modulated frequencies and punchy basslines recorded live at Bassiani.
