Northern Solitude

Hylonis is a Tokyo-based artist who merges ethereal soundscapes with futuristic minimalism in their ambient music project. Drawing inspiration from the mysteries of nature, the cosmos, and deep human emotions, Hylonis crafts compositions that invite listeners into a meditative and serene auditory world.

The music is heavily influenced by 90s techno legends such as Aphex Twin and The Orb, while also incorporating melodic elements reminiscent of 80s New Age music. Additionally, Hylonis avoids using soft synths or modern DAWs in their production, instead relying on digital synthesizers and samplers from the 2000s to create a warm and immersive sonic depth.
