Love Tune

Here is the story of a little girl learning to play the violin. She struggles to play, and through her struggle she creates a new way of practicing: she imagines bringing her stuffed animal to life; a simple, Orange Elephant. He awakens, sits at a tiny piano (which is the same size as him now) and, for a moment,  plays a tune for her. She is taken by a melody, and plays it, completely enraptured by the intensity and simpleness of the piece.

Special thanks to my family who supported me to get to this point. This is an old one I made in 2007-2008 finally finished (I seem to have a large archive of old stuff to finish out). I hope you enjoy the song!

This piano solo is inspired by the profound wisdom of Daoism, capturing the essence of the ineffable and eternal. Originally written with lyrics drawn from ancient philosophy, the melody now speaks through the purity of the piano, conveying the depth of the Dao without the need for words.

Like a coin with only one side, true understanding transcends definitions. The Dao cannot be spoken, nor can it be named—yet it flows through all things, giving rise to existence and shaping the universe. This piece invites the listener into a space of contemplation, where the seen and unseen intertwine, where mystery deepens with every note, and where the path to understanding lies beyond mere perception.

Let this music be your gateway to serenity, an echo of the eternal harmony that connects all things.
