In a decade-long career, Robin has been playing and releasing music in different labels around the world. Growing up around funk music during his formative years in Nice, France, Robin left home early relocating to East London in 2007, where he was drawn to the burgeoning underground club scene. Influenced by the French style of the nineties, while also drawing on inspiration from deeper German minimal sounds, Robin was entrenched in the fertile East London scene during this exciting era of London’s musical history.

Reminiscing about ADE, we started sifting through the vaults and decided to upload one of our favorite souvenirs. In anticipation of our next event at Shelter with Margaret Dygas, we would like to share with you a little nostalgia inducing souvenir from our previous event with Ricardo Villalobos. Our very own Reiss had the challenging task of setting the mood during the opening hours of night that so many were looking forward to. Slowly building up the vibe and tension in the room, while anticipation for the appearance of our guest of honour was gradually progressing towards its apex. Brother in beats Ferro upped the levels during his set and when Ricardo finally appeared in the booth, the energy in the room was electrifying before the man even played his first record. The rest is history.
