Norwich based guitar driven instrumental duo Rave On The Dole announce the release of their upcoming debut studio album We, Dinosauria via Drongo Records.

Rave On The Dole recorded and mixed We, Dinosauria with sound engineer and all round legend Mikey Shaw at Dub Cavern Studios, Norwich.

Katie Tavini of Weird Jungle Mastering Collective, who has worked with artists such as, ArloParks, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Los Bitchos, The Subways, Alpha Male Tea Party and Eat Your Own Head, has sprinkled her mastering wizardry across these ten tracks.
The album’s inspiration hails from the future vision in sound of Charles Bukowski’s poem Dinosauria, We (Born In To This). A dystopian nightmarish tale of the future of man on the brink of apocalypse. Or in other words watching the six o’clock news. Although that may sound a little heavy for some, We, Dinosauria is packed to the brim with two years’ worth of Rave On The Dole’s buoyant creativity.

We, Dinosauria announces itself through cosmic grooves, clean blissful melodic beauty, a sprinkle of pastoral psychadelism and some downright filth for good measure.

Taking their influences from an eclectic mix of many artists such as Mogwai, King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Sleaford Mods and MF Doom to name but a fraction. The Duo have really tried to create ten tracks that feel like a cohesive journey as opposed to just throwing a bunch of material together and putting a stamp on it that says here is an album by Rave On The Dole. Let Rave On the Dole take you away from a present fraught with anxiety and unease to a hopeful vision of a future that has yet to be built.
