Dilemma Podcast 072 Gotshell from Colombia. @Gotshell aka Alessan Main, is the great ambassador of the scene of the Colombian electronic music. After its first release on the legendary Techno label, Planet Rhythm in 2014, more than 10 releases, 12¨, came out on labels like Nachtstrom Schallplatten, EPM music and James Ruskin's Blueprint. His Remixes on two of the more historical bases of acid techno, Synewave and Missile Records,They caught the attention of many of the key DJs on the scene. What Carl Cox, who hired him at Intec under his alias Alessan Main. Other Soto's project, was the collaboration with Dantiez Saunderson in Kms Records, Kevins Saundersons label.
Unpredictable rhythms, chaotic and psychedelic soundscapes
describes his live sets that have regularly taken him to each part of his country of origin, Colombia and a successful European tour last year (2017) which started at the Tresor Club, Berlin.
Inspired by the first wave of old school techno, it mixes the advanced sound of the genre and expands deeper into even more electronic and instrumental music styles like IDM,ambient, experimental, dub, just to name a few examples.
Gotshell is an artist who always hopes to keep a composition aesthetic and refined of underground culture.

“Armonías itinerantes, envolventes atmósferas y frecuencias experimentales en búsqueda de un sonido orgánico e inspirador que genere sentimientos al oyente”
Ese es el concepto con el que VCI se describe como artista, y en el que quiere reflejar cada una de sus producciones y su live performance a la hora de interactuar con el público, siempre en búsqueda de la originalidad teniendo como fundamentos el espectro sonoro que la música eléctrónica ofrece sin cerrarse en géneros,
Actualmente se ha ganado su lugar en la escena nacional convirtiéndose en un referente en cuanto a su live performance se refiere, el cual ha presentado en las principales ciudades del país, como también en pequeños lugares donde la escena está floreciendo.
Todo este trabajo lo ha llevado a participar del festival Freedom en Medellín en 2017 y 2018 como cuota destacada de talento del eje cafetero, compartiendo cabina con Shifted, Dasha Rush, Sigha Giorgio Gigli entre otros, además de hacer partícipe de eventos a nivel local y nacional con artistas como SNTS, Korridor, Raffaele Attanasio, Truncate, Bas Mooy...
Ha sido precursor de la cultura electrónica en su natal Pereira haciendo parte del colectivo Technosis proyecto que culminó en 2018 con una residencia de un año en el Club Parallel, posteriormente fue uno de los fundadores del colectivo Matteria, en el que actualmente milita como artista residente de su ciclo de eventos.

Ha prensado su música en sellos como Labrynth y Alss y en el 2019 saldrá su nuevo EP en el sello Virna de Raffaele Attanasio.
