I’ve decided to remaster some albums and tracks that have already been released.  Just felt I could give them a different kinda sound...

I import the audio files into the daw and then usually load one or more processors of some kind (vinyl, compressor, desk emulations etc) on the stereo master buss. This is configured to colour, shape the sound. My versions are sometimes lower in vol level than the originals. Some releases are hot to signal, but I'm looking for an inherent sound.

Sometimes I apply some chamber and or hall reverb.

Also, No Feeling, Did You No Wrong and My Way.

I decided to call the remist, Anarchy In The U.K.

No Feeling was the B side track to the withdrawn God Save The Queen single, 1977 (from A & M records, before the group signed to Virgin).
Did You No Wrong was the replacement B side - God Save The Queen.
My Way was released as a single in 1978, lead vocals - Sid Vicious.

With God Save The Queen I added some delay to the line,

She ain’t no human being

This was to lay further emphasis on what John Lydon originally intended, the repercussions of an anger back at a superiority class system (of delusion).

I also took out the lyrics,

God save the queen
The fascist regime (left in)
That made you a moron (taken out)
Potential H-bomb (left in)

I added some phasing to Did You No Wrong and My Way.

The remist cover features a still from The Cars That Ate Paris (1974).
