JayBird of Half Dead Recordz began his music career 17 years ago. since he began his career; he has performed from Oakland all the way to Los Angeles and the central valley in California. He has also been on Stockton radio, Internet radio, local TV and radio stations. JayBird also gained sponsorship from the freedom felons clothing line. He advertised and supported the clothing line by promoting the company during his live performances. He was also apart of the promoting company known as street teams inc. with a base out in the central valley of California. His first album was released in local shops and gas stations through out Tulare county.  He also aided in starting the very first hip hop toy drive with street teams inc. in Tulare county. The first hip hop toy drive gained local media attention from the mainstream news outlets in the area of Tulare county and Fresno California.  JayBird has performed with many artists including turf talk and tha dog pound gangsters.
