Signal Rec is a Spanish label brought to life in 2019 from Drop-E and that has featured top underground talent such as Bernardo Hangar, PWCCA and Joaquin Ruiz.

Portuguese talent Klotz makes his debut with impressive productions following appearances on Gabriel D’Or & Bordoy’s Selected Records, INNSIGNN and Dissolved Mind, while also included here is a remix from the excellent Dykkon based in Madrid.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the last track “Notch” that has a club weapon written all over it. The hypnotic, rolling hook is instantly and insanely catchy using detuned off-kilter notes to ride the chugging and driving beat. Functional and full of a fun energy while no doubt being serious, this ticks all the boxes and definitely delivers.

The Spanish producer has worked hard to perfect a sound that can place his music on the most demanding dance floors on the planet, and with this release we can ensure that he will succeed.

'Windows To Nothing', is the sound representation of a path full of contrasts, beautiful settings and sudden changes of energy. We can find elegant sound designs, sharp drum work, funky bass and classy feeling, repetitive and hypnotic melodies accompanied by forceful bases and deep kicks. After a 3-year absence from Vector Functions, Fixon has put together the highest quality work, making us feel like it was worth the wait.

Resign Yourself is another chapter in the musical history of the Mexican artist, in which he has sought to deliver a sound work that will fully match his idea of the musicalization of Vector Functions, mixed with his original sound. In some way, this fusion has helped him get back to the roots, accelerate the pace, increase the forcefulness, and make a clear statement of the proposal, totally contrary to the name of the release.
We could define how it has achieved the perfect balance by creating a powerful and spatial sound stage.

Fixon has not come alone, he has invited one of his friends and colleagues from Illegal Alien, with whom he has already worked as a remixer and as a co-producer on the album 'No Boundaries: Two' published on Illegal Alien in the summer of last year.
The French, DJ Saint Pierre, has completely deconstructed the track 'Heroist' to create a version, much more aggressive and industrial, with broken beats and a dazzling energy.

For the next slot of my series I've chosen Vel. I'm really happy to finally share a woman on the series.

Next up:  Vel.

Morocco born, France based DJ and producer Vel delivers a set between the moods. She included deep atmospheres, dark vibes and psychedelic visions. Pads settings different vibes. 

Back in december she released her debut EP "Who by Fire " on unusal records. Which made me aware of her. I loved the style of her production and really enjoyed her release. The EP comes up with remixes by "In Aeternam Vale" and "Amour noir".

The vinyl of her actual ep is completely sold out - because it's pure quality.

I've chosen her, because her release fitted good in my vision of verschwommen. I always try to choose artists, I'm feeling familiar with, because of their sound and the vibe. 

In this case it matched very "vel".
