When @ddrkirbyisq asked me to do a remix for his official debut artist album, I couldn't turn him down. After hearing several songs off the album, I decided I wanted to go ahead and remix the first song on the album: Fortitude. The original is a fun, breakbeat sort of thing, but this has kicked the intensity up a few notches and pushed it into my favorite DnB realm. So this isn't your typical happy go lucky Christmas song, partially because I love Chrono Trigger and also because 2020 was kind of a garbage year! Schala's Theme has always been something I've wanted to remix, and this is also the first time I made a remix with vocals in it :D There were some challenges getting the whole mix to sound right and making sure the vocals were on point. I also tried some new chord stack techniques to get things to sound nice and full. I think you'll find this song fitting this time around, so enjoy this dank future bass/melodic dubstep tune with xMEIYIN's amazing vocals!
