Always loved Corneria as a kid. Such an epic intro to such a nostalgic game! I wanted to bring my drum and bass twist to this great tune, hope you like it :D

Unofficially, this song is called DonKing Kong :D

Man, Donkey Kong Country has so many great songs… so I guess naturally I just had to take the last song and the first song and combine them! I had a lot of fun making this remix, and it is definitely something different. The genre here is the most akin to glitch hop but to be honest its hard to say. I wanted to capture the original feeling I got when fighting King K. Rool as a kid. The song was really nice and happy and it gave you that false sense of security, and then the drop was just like BAM FINAL BOSS xD And of course the intro theme is simply awesome.

This feels like a nice stopping point to the SNES album. Street fighter music always gets me pumped up, and Ryu's theme is no exception. I wanted this remix to be as pumpy and hype as possible, so I hope you feel the same. I tried to keep each song in the album a different style, and it's interesting to see where I've come since I took so long xD Enjoy this bonus track on the album that I hope to get online at some point!

TBH I prefer him in Smash more than in street fighter but no one has to know that.

I know this song took me forever to remix, it was quite complex and has a lot of different parts to it. I think this made an interesting blend of dub, 8-bit, and orchestral elements. Even with all of the remixing I still hope that I kept enough of the original feel for some nostalgia points. I had a lot of fun with this one and now I get to premiere it with you guys :D

This also marks the beginning of my GAMECUBE album, so pumped :3

Kirby Air Ride: City Trial (Vector U Remix)

Dude, what a RUSH. What's your favorite Pikmin color?

Sometimes the simplest melodies can lead to the most complex remixes! This one took me a bit to do, but I poured my feels into it :D I started off just wanting a chill trap type of vibe, but in the end it became like a future bass-ey thing lol. I normally avoid really long typical EDM build ups, but I think the one I used worked in this one.

I spent a lot of my kidhood getting wrecked by those Snagrets, so hopefully this song will show them who's boss. Anyway, hope you enjoy this Pikmin remix!

Pikmin: Forest Of Hope (Vector U Remix)

Get your nostalgia goggles on, cuz this funky happy song will blast you all the way back to 2003! This is still one of my favorite Mario Karts to date, because it was so unique and fun with friends :D

I wanted to keep the racing level vibe and the overall structure rather simple. I focused on mixing, sound quality and maximizing b u m p. The melody speaks for itself, so I didn't really want to change it too much here.

"Tal Tal Heights" is my addition to the album, and it was just so much fun to remix. I remember going to the mountain range as a kid just to hear this melody! I thought it would be nice to speed things up a bit with a DnB/Ska type groove. I also managed to accidentally drop the bass pretty hard in the middle lol. This is also my first loopable piece, make sure to put this one on repeat to try it out ;D

Zelda - Link's Awakening: Tal Tal Heights (Vector U Remix)

Needs more Super Luigi Sunshine, amirite?

Yup, once again this one has taken me quite some time... I was in the midst of a move and starting my new job, so I'm sorry for the wait! 

This one just screamed electro swing to me, so I tried to spice it up with some chopped samples and my very own drum solo :D (Yes I play drums). I also wanted some fresh 8-bit elements and in-game samples cuz it wouldn't be a Vector U remix without those! I loved making this one, and I think it'll be a nice upbeat entry to the Gamecube album.
