Yup you heard correctly, Player 2 and I have brought you some Sonic 2 hype for the new movie! 

This is my first collab with Player 2, and he was a boss ass bitch to remix with! He knows what he's doing in the remix department for sure. With my phat beats, sound design and mixing, and his composition/mastering, I think we make a pretty dank team. When Player 2 approached me with this collab idea, I got pretty excited and just kinda ran away with it! I think the drop has just the perfect blend of our two styles.

Thank U Taboo for the commission! Originally this was supposed to be a fusion of Tabuu's battle theme from Brawl and In the Final. I really tried to make it work, but it wasn't fusing together properly so we scrapped the Tabuu part! I think this ended up sounding really good though so I'm not complaining :) 

This might be like 4 different genres melded together though, so buckle up! Enjoy the ride, and also one of the heaviest drops I've ever made ;)

THIS IS THE COLLAB OF THE AGES. My lord, this might just be my favorite collab that I've been a part of so far! I've never seen a faster, more efficient turnaround with 3 people. We were all on deck, and the musicianship was on fleek. All of our remix styles are represented here beautifully. Player2's amazing house-style beats, NoteBlock's gorgeous orchestral arrangements, and of course, my dastardly wubs! I think we all felt like we contributed what we wanted to this project, and it's gonna be hard to top this one. I really hope you enjoy this one, cuz there's something here for everyone!

Mario Kart songs are such bangers, and this one is no exception! Xengir thought this song needed some love and I loved it alright ;) This also happens to be my loudest song so far, but I think YT and Spotify will squash it down lol. It's also randomly the first time I've made anything with an "acid" sounding lead? I wanted to make a punchy, dancy track with some weird growls mixed in. It ended up having a modern race game feel which I really like! The breakdown is pretty wild too so make sure to check that out :)

Super Mario Kart: Mario Circuit (Vector U Remix)

This song was quite intimidating to remix at first. I've never played this game so I wasn't familiar with it initially either. There's a lot going on, and it's normally in a slow rock genre that I am not used to. Aninymouse said they wanted it to be high energy though, so that got me thinkin somethin faster paced might work. Drum, and, BASS baby. Once I got the ball rollin it just flew out of my fingertips like butter. like BUTTAH. The crisp bass and the crisp drums really make this a tight little diddle. I hope you have as much fun listening as I did mixing!

Who knew Unfounded Revenge from Mother 3 and Item Bounce from Kirby Air Ride would go so well together? I'm so happy I discovered this combo, aren't they like the SAME SONG?! Sometimes you can't even tell which song you're listening to haha! This also has one of the craziest drops I've ever made. Once again, I have no idea what genre this is lol. KIRBY X MOTHER: Unfounded Bounce (Vector U Remix)

Merry Holidays everyone! This is my last remix of 2023, what a crazy year! 2024 is gonna be THE year, I can just feel it ;)
I didn't realize how simple this song was until I remixed it lol. It's literally just a 4 bar verse and a 4 bar chorus, that's it. I had to take some liberties here and there to flesh it out, but I think it turned out pretty nice! I would describe this as a progressive/electro house take on Ice Cap Zone, and I hope you guys enjoy it! See you all next year :D

Sonic 3: Ice Cap Zone (Vector U Remix)

Yes, I decided to combine Meta Knight's Revenge with Flash Man's Theme...AND IT FUCKIN WORKED! It was quite a struggle at first but after sitting down with it for a while I came up with one of the favorite arrangements I've ever made. The keys can be matched up but the chord progressions are quite different. I wanted to preserve the nature of the two tracks as well; the superhero sounding Flash Man with the chaotic intensity of Meta Knight. Let me know what you guys think! I'm pretty proud of this one :)
