Man, Donkey Kong Country has so many great songs… so I guess naturally I just had to take the last song and the first song and combine them! I had a lot of fun making this remix, and it is definitely something different. The genre here is the most akin to glitch hop but to be honest its hard to say. I wanted to capture the original feeling I got when fighting King K. Rool as a kid. The song was really nice and happy and it gave you that false sense of security, and then the drop was just like BAM FINAL BOSS xD And of course the intro theme is simply awesome.

Electro Swing is so much FUN!

I know forest maze is a little overdone, but I still had a blast making this one :D The original song is simple yet effective in giving a sense of wonder to the player. There were a lot of great songs to choose from, but I think this one just had to reign number 1 for me. A highly under rated RPG, play it if you haven't!

This has probably been one of my favorite songs to remix... it was just such a journey for me and I hope it will be for you too!

The Metroid series is fun to play and has such a unique soundtrack, with tons of ambience and distortion. I made this song sort of the with the mindset of "Hey, what if this song was the intro to Metroid Prime instead?" I think all this made me create something I never have before, and I'm excited to share it! Also i don't really know what genre this is xD

Anyway, I think I'm finally done with this album! Or am I...?

Yup, once again this one has taken me quite some time... I was in the midst of a move and starting my new job, so I'm sorry for the wait! 

This one just screamed electro swing to me, so I tried to spice it up with some chopped samples and my very own drum solo :D (Yes I play drums). I also wanted some fresh 8-bit elements and in-game samples cuz it wouldn't be a Vector U remix without those! I loved making this one, and I think it'll be a nice upbeat entry to the Gamecube album.

Super Mario Sunshine: Delfino Plaza (Vector U Remix)

This one definitely took me a while... but just like Metroid Prime 4 I think it will be worth it! When I started making it, I realized that I also like the title theme and so I decided to combine the two.

I think this might be my most intricate piece so far, it has a lot of atmospheric details and transitions. The transition between the title theme and the main theme had me stuck for a while too since they are in different time signatures and different keys. I had a lot of fun creating this one, and I hope I did Metroid justice.
