You have thought correctly. The task was to create a badass song that could be used as an intro, and here it is! This might be one of the phattest, hottest beats that I have created as well, hence the name TM38. I'm gonna whip this one out at the clubs one day! It's really interesting to go from remixing to creating an original, you can still tell it was inspired by video game elements. When you create an original, there are no constraints whatsoever! It's almost daunting when you think about all the possibilities... I made a chord progression, and I stuck with it. I decided on a fat trap beat and I stuck with that. Eventually I landed on crazy dubstep and dance elements too! This was a delicious concoction of music chemistry, and I hope you enjoy it!
