Flour & some conversations freeze the dandy emerald whistles 
The bark don’t have the leaves to 30 up and really listen 
My control over environments deflate the better years
And I know that to go higher I must make it outta here
No more rapping with a clock, I’ll trade for mirrors if they here
Gladys’ digital irises I feel as if they real
Might as well if the horrors and the nightmares heal 
Can’t escape the acceptance needed to get the clear

Clearings in the forest far from here 
Life liquids, it decorates the steel that I wield

College, I went to Hogwarts 
the problems I had a job for
Music was in the making
Creation, there’ll be a lot more

Dialogue, conservation
Loss & humiliation 
Pushed the pen to the bottom
And stacked it to overweight it

I failed to be honest
But all conditions met, as promised

I’m on a just post basis
Two years ago I was deep in the races 
I felt as if the right place, right time was at play
Somehow surfed the wrong way, I had the right wave come to weigh me

Stuck it out & those nights at first I felt wrong I felt crazy
Spoke to God every night to make sure those plans weren’t in vain
Seemed as though everything was just working out in that way
Wasn’t sure if those steps or that leap would set me ablaze 
Everything that I know it all came from trial & pain 
Everything I know now I trust it works out & convey

It’s more power staring out into the universe
More freedom than the grounded sights you see at first 
Fear don’t let you fly but sink to lows you needed first 
To let you know the sky is calling it can’t fall or hurt you

I hate to think I needed every bandage 
The thorns of roses I planted and their irony growing
I seem to feel like good things elude my wingspan 
Damn near impossible, you ever see me, peep my hands 
Sometimes I think I ain’t been through nothin but Nana told me
