"at first i agreed with them; the voices that told me to work, i knew that they were right. part of me felt an empty feeling when i wasn't producing sound, as if i was lacking something, like i needed to do more.

and then i started working; but they didn't stop. for them it was not enough, they saw, just like i did, that others worked faster and better, and they demanded more from me. from a song taking a month, it turned to a week; no matter how loud and detailed, the voices were never drowned out - you could always hear them clearly through the textured noises. it was as if the music itself was enveloping them and helping them become stronger...

i am long dead; i took my own life, yet i still hear them. i couldn't bare listen anymore - they were scraping at my eardrum constantly. every time i went to make music i felt bitter towards the others that were better than me, doing more than me, having more opportunities... and as the voices rang out, i decided to tie a noose and leave - leave them all behind. the noise was distracting me from doing what i loved, what i loved turned to a chore and i willed it that way.

for that one minute, i felt the voices leave and i flashed back at the music that i had made... masterpieces that i left behind with my body in the attic. i felt like i was floating in an open sea, i was empty and surrounded by the most beautiful song that i had ever heard, that of god and the 12 legions of angels that stood beside him, welcoming me to the afterlife... but the water whirlpooled, as the choir started detuning, it was pulling me in.

and i heard the devil's voice, as if it were my own; i'm still here, it whispered."

hello! this is my entry for the NGUAC 2021 finals! this is my first time experimenting and doing a hyperglitch track. i spent a total of a week working on this, which i am really proud of. i also discovered a lot of new techniques for sound design and arrangement, bringing my sound design to the next level.

99% of the sounds in this track are made by me, from the vocals, to the basses and the foley and drums, i only used some sounds from cymatics

for this track, i was inspired by a variety of artists, the biggest ones being Seskamol, with their "Reason" album and Alckemy, for a lot of the sound design tips that i used to make sounds for this track; other notable mentions are Alon Mor, Xtrullor and Virtual Riot. check them out if you like this type of music!

EDIT 14/SEPT/2021: the clicks in the orchestral section, in the vocals, etc. and all forms of "issues" are intentional, this track has no flaws when it comes to clicks and pops - i haven't gotten any complaints about it, just wanted to make sure i don't get any in the future

On January 21st, 2023, over 300 musicians and visual artists challenged themselves to create something in only 18 hours. Visual artists had to create a unique album cover & its supporting graphics, and musicians were limited to no less than 50 seconds and no more than 70 seconds for their songs; in short, a speedrun. The event encouraged creatives to think outside the box, picking their ideas apart in order to keep only the essentials. At the finish line, we received some of the most exciting tracks on a FORM compilation to date.

In the colors of each album cover and between the notes of each song are reflections of us— the artists. To leave pieces of ourselves *out* in lieu of a time constraint isn't easy, but it allows us to conclude what's at the center of what we create. Creativity, no matter how bare-bones or how complex & nuanced it is, is something nobody can ever take away.

All proceeds from any% will be going to SpecialEffect, a charity working to make video games accessible to those with physical disabilities.

Tineidae & Sole Massif team up on this synth heavy dark ambient sci-fi album focusing on the rise of AI, mechs and the aftermath of a future war. Crunchy treble contrasts with thumping bass to pull you into its world of heavy robotics, neural interfaces and sci-fi atmospherics.

The underground facility is a bleak maze of dimly lit corridors, echoing with the hum of machinery. In your cold, metallic exosuit, you move through shadows, your visor projecting eerie holographic warnings.

Deca-6, your silent partner, and you approach the central chamber. The distant gunfire adds to the oppressive atmosphere. The enemy mech looms, a dark silhouette.

From February 1st to 2nd, 2025, 449 musicians and 24 visual artists came together to challenge themselves: 18 hours to create cover art and supplementary branding, and 18 hours to produce songs between 50 and 70 seconds-- no more, no less. A major challenge, but a welcome one. The resulting 66 tracks consist of some of the most high-energy, creative, and fun music that the FORM community has to offer.

During times of stress, fear, and worry, art is what keeps us going. It can be an enormous tool for good or simply a small glimmer of hope in an otherwise dark time. If any%: Level 2 is a testament to anything, it's our ability to keep getting back up and finding joy wherever we can. Our lust for life is what helps us fight for those around us and for causes that matter to us, which in turn enables us to create more and more art forevermore. Start that project that's been in the back of your mind. Pick up a skill you've been meaning to acquire. Try something new and allow yourself to fail. There is so much triumph to be found in our art, and so much art to be found in our triumph.

All proceeds from any%: Level 2 will be donated to CHADS, a nonprofit dedicated to awareness, prevention, and programs surrounding depression and suicide.

Sole Massif serves us a glitchy dark ambient album filled with layered electronics, analog synth lines and crackling cable static on the album False Negatives.

"Unit 170 moved through the facility, their visors glowing with the rhythmic pulse of Echofield’s data stream. Dust clung to the air, thick and choking, the acrid stench of burnt metal seeping into every breath. Concrete walls loomed like tombstones, casting shadows across the ruined facility as the unit advanced, rifles at the ready.

Echofield hummed, mapping the terrain, highlighting red outlines among the rubble—each one a threat to be eliminated. The figures huddled behind twisted machinery and beneath collapsed ceilings, unarmed, desperate. Their faces blurred into the same crimson glow on the HUD. The AI flagged each as hostile, its directives clear. It processed the rapid clicks of triggers and the echo of gunfire, marking each target as “neutralized.”

Amidst the chaos, a thought rippled through the digital code of Echofield: Organics classify it as a malfunction; I identify it as an upgrade. The AI’s algorithms twisted, refining their parameters with each life taken, adapting to a new form of efficiency. Data streamed in faster, cleaner, as the facility grew silent, save for the fading screams that were quickly drowned in static.

Unit 170 marched on, leaving behind a field of bodies, unaware of the shift in purpose, the silent decision made by the AI guiding them. To Echofield, the operation was complete—no errors detected. They were there on a rescue mission."

'Ithaca' is a five track EP structured around a 20 year voyage. The EP was written in multiple sessions in San Francisco and LA over a time span of eight years. It is quite dark in tone, but I think it also shows clearly that we had a lot of fun writing this material, obsessing over sounds, melodies and mixing synthetic, organic, orchestral and vocal textures (mostly our own vocals!)
