The band was formed at the initiative of Echivoc (vocals) and Vârcolac (guitar) who shaped the first Signatura Rerum's songs. Lyrics are based on fantasy. Our first song ”Muntele Înghețat” talks about a ”frozen god” from a mountain. In this song, people's struggle and pain is well outlined on their road to find the "Frozen God". 

The name Signatura Rerum was inspired from one of Jacob Boehme's books. It means "The signature of all things". The band takes just the title of the book: a concept, in which every object from the real world has a hidden meaning and that all these signatures are interconnected.

The band self-released their first album: "In Sfarsit ..." on 1th August 2013

In 4th of September 2017 Signatura Rerum announced their second album entitled: "The Legend 1". 8th of September, they release a lyric video for "Rise and Fall part 2". "The Legend 1" is a start of a trilogy that is based on a fantasy universe, created entirely by the band. "The Legend 1" is set to release on 13th of October 2017.

5 piece heavy metal band from Edinburgh, Scotland.
New single Wrath out April 27th. 

Perpetua are an unsigned five piece metalcore band hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland. The current lineup have been together since summer 2013 and since then, have released their newest EP "As Hells Arise" which has sparked many great reviews everywhere and had phenomenal feedback from their "electric" live shows.

Since the October release, the band have been featured on many music blogs in the UK and Australia. They have featured in Stencil Magazine as well as having frequent airplay on Radio Saltire, Belter Radio, East Coast FM and also a mention on Kerrang! Radio.

The band are currently gigging in Scotland headlining their own self promoted shows in Edinburgh and retaining numbers which haven't been seen at an unsigned show in Edinburgh for years and have recently shared the stage with bands such as Yashin, Bleed From Within and Skindred.


We started out as a full band in May 2012 and played our first show on September 14th at the Warren Teen Center hosted by Creations Open Mic Night. We released a 3 track demo in late November titled "Demo-Lition". On January 25th at the Warren Battle Of The Bands 2013, Veins Of Malice competed against 5 other bands and took 1st place.
