Der Podcast mit der Nummer 47 kommt von Markus Ferdinand, der als M.in besser bekannt sein dürfte; und das über seine Heimat Frankfurt am Main hinaus. Sei es durch den Kaufemusik Promopool, oder durch der von Lars Brankatschk und ihm gegründeten Booking-Agentur: My Favourite Freaks.
Besonders als Produzent hat er sich mit vielen Produktionen bzw. Kollaborationen (wir verweisen an dieser Stelle auch auf Podcast Nr.44) und natürlich Remixen einen Namen gemacht. After several self-hosted parties, the DJ career of HEIKO MSO starts in 1990 as a sales assistant at BOY RECORDS in Frankfurt. This is followed by a job at the Frankfurt-based label CYCLOTRON Records.

In 1991, HEIKO plays as the support DJ on THE HYPNOTIST Live Tour in Germany, leaves BOY Records and joins the DELIRIUM Record Store (shortly after it is founded) in Frankfurt. First resident DJ job at Frankfurt's PLASTIK club.

In 1992 ATA, ATOM HEART and MSO produce the cult record MIHON on the POD COMMUNICATION label under the pseudonym ONGAKU. Shortly after that, the first solo project - likewise co-produced by Atom Heart - entitled M/S/O »TRAX« is released on POD COMMUNICATION. ATA and HEIKO become resident DJs at Frankfurt's cult club XS (later called BOX) and found the ONGAKU MUSIK label.

In 1993, HEIKO and ATA found KLANG ELEKTRONIK and PLAYHOUSE as sub-labels of ONGAKU when ROMAN FLÜGEL and JÖRN ELLING WUTTKE join the team as producers. After completion of their DJ residency at the XS, ATA and HEIKO play as residents at the DORIAN GRAY club for half a year and several times at the OMEN in Frankfurt, before starting their own deep house club evening WILD PITCH CLUB at NACHTLEBEN in Frankfurt. For five years, the NACHTLEBEN becomes ATA and HEIKO's musical home every Thursday night.

In 1994, HEIKO has his biggest success as a producer (together with Pascal FEOS):
FEOS VS MSO »OUR MUSIC«. HEIKO and ATA play on the MARLBORO US HOUSE TOUR in Germany as German support DJs. Furthermore, HEIKO spins discs at the legendary solar eclipse party in ARICA (CHILE).

In 1996, ATA and HEIKO create a party concept called THE GIFT which comprises events at different locations and offers a technoid alternative to the WILD PITCH CLUB. ATA and HEIKO host parties with renowned DJs such as MARK BROOM, AUTECHRE, ANDREW WEATHERALL, JEFF MILLS, DANIEL BELL, ECTOMORPH, DOC SCOTT, ROBERT HOOD, CLAUDE YOUNG, CARL CRAIG, etc... HEIKO MSO plays in the USA (DETROIT and CHICAGO) for the first time.

In 1997, HEIKO hands in his notice at the DELIRIUM Record Store to have more time to concentrate on the ever increasing label work of ONGAKU, KLANG ELEKTRONIK and PLAYHOUSE.

In 1998, the first official Ongaku, Playhouse and Klang Elektronik label office opens. This year, and the following years, HEIKO's efforts revolve mainly around label work, as well as organising club, party and DJ activities.

HEIKO has been a resident DJ at Offenbach's ROBERT JOHNSON club since 1999, one of the trendiest and most style-setting house clubs in Europe. However, his DJ activities not only involve national performances, but often take him far beyond the German borders to e.g. Spain, France, the UK, Slovakia, etc. In 2006 he finally made his way back into the studio and will be coming out with some new 12” in 2007.

Heiko's sets include house as well as techno elements. He finds committing himself to only one style is neither necessary nor would it make sense. His personal style is based on a balanced mixture of both influences. His musical roots lie in soul & funk, disco and Chicago house, but also in reduced and original Detroit techno. Electronic and classic repetitive music has influenced and inspired him since his early childhood.

Dave Vega started DJing in the late '90s in Karlsruhe in the south of Germany. It was here that Vega and friends organized illegal techno parties at secret outdoor locations, with soundsystems so loud that people in other villages kilometers away could feel the bass. People would come from all over to party and would stay all day and all night. Inevitably these parties always led to fracases with the police...

After some years organising parties, Dave was bitten by the music bug and finally made the step from the dancefloor to the other side of the dj booth. In 2000, he moved to Frankfurt and began work as a music journalist. Later he met people like Ata and Heiko MSO who offered him work at their revered label empire, comprising Playhouse, Klang Elektronik and Ongaku. A residency in the famous Robert Johnson club soon followed, and Dave started to play all over the world. Over the years, he has played countless gigs in clubs like Berlin's Panorama Bar, Harry Klein and Rote Sonne in Munich, Rex Club in Paris, Nitza Club in Barcelona, Sugar Factory in Amsterdam, Space in Ibiza, and lately even a boat party in Honolulu, to list a few...

In 2007, Vega finally made the move to Berlin. Fueled by the energy of the city and a decade of DJing, he started producing his own music. Releases on Exone, Thoughtless Music, Memento, Quantized Music were following the next years. In 2014 Get Physical signed a track of him and Cesare vs. Disorder on their famous Full Body Workout compilation, a full EP will be released on BPitch Control in March. Vega's roots have always been somewhere between House and Techno - that's what he plays and and still drives him after almost 15 years of electronic music experience.

Kuo Climax aka Felipe Jimenez Gálvez hails from Malaga in Spain, where starting out he quickly turned his event series at Pier 4 into a regular roadblock before using the shows as a platform to launch his own DJ career. Now going from strength to strength as an artist in his own right, Kuo has a stacked release schedule going well into 2017 and a touring calendar that spans Europe’s biggest clubbing destinations.
 
Madrid native Dennis Cruz made his debut in 2010 and has since made a name for himself as one of the most talented Spanish artists leading the way today, gaining an army of supporters including Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Maudaber and Timo Maas to name a few. For his remix of ‘Tomorrow’ he dominates the dance floor with heavy rolling percussion, utilising the luscious vocals cuts to add that sensual touch.

Mirco Veitengruber, also known as VEITENGRUBER, is a professional in the dance music industry. His background dates back to the mid-1990s, as DJ and producer of the trance project Genetic Line. After a break, Mirco returned to the music industry in 2009 and his sound has matured, as evidenced by the success of his hit "Gimme Some Muah". He has released music on renowned labels and performed as a DJ and live act all over the world. In 2012, he founded Degree Records and later "hi-music" to demonstrate his passion for house music.
