Influenced by cult Dutch electronic labels, Detroit electro, Miami bass, early Chicago and P-Funk/G-Funk, Ole Mic Odd’s music and performances are driven by hardware electronics, live recordings and improvisation. His live sets weave together techno, acid, electro, synth-wave and jakbeat styles, while recordings range from acid electro and jackin techno to stomping house and ambient synth improvisations.

OMO has released on KRI Records, Kraftjerkz, Source Material, Zement, Dead Channel, Natural Sciences, New York Haunted, Another Perspective, Hilltown Disco, Clan Destine and Up North Records, among others. He has releases forthcoming on Jungle Gym Records, Zonate, and other labels.

Get latched on our new mix stirred together by System Disorder from Helsinki. Responsible for some of the best electronic music releases of the last years, be it as System Disorder or under his moniker DJ Nephil. Productions on influential labels like Sons of Traders, Phormix, KRI, Dead Channel, Clan Destine or on his own imprint called Gravitational Waves, which all played and still play an important part in our own musical background. 

As diverse as his output is, you can always recognize his own sound and style. This mix is no exception. Machines, synths, some dub and soundscape excursions, broken beats and hellish kickdrums to let this world get even more off the rails.
