Under the guise of DyE we nd ‘Taki 183,’ an enigmatic debut Album from Juan de Guillebon; long time bass player to the demanding training of the Parisian electronic scene - Joakim & the Disco, Botox and Maestro. DyE has said of ‘Taki 183’ that it ‘is a personal and progressive urban design’ already popular with artists as diverse as James Murphy, DJ Mehdi, Erol Alkan and James Holden. Sometimes dreamy electro-pop or excessive shoe gaze, and then often introverted dubstep and hallucinogenic nu-disco. On a more Highbrow level, DyE invests several research elds into his music, such as harmonic instrumental radicals and disarticulated cosmic melodies and synthetic songs!!!! But fundamentally what we discover is a journey through DyE’s immediate sphere of in uence, with the rst port of call being his younger self. 
Meet 14 year-old DyE, he is playing guitar in a Tropical Disco band with Malian Musicians, but then leaves to study sound engineering, cello and Electric Bass - precocious at best. Luckily for us he found time to mess himself up by joining a rock band, of sorts, as bass Player for Joakims band around 2005. DyE was 3 years on the road playing every major city around the world and recording on many of Joakims albums. In his own words

‘it was some kind of Golden Age.’ But it was around 2007 when the infamous Web 2.0 appeared; the period in the history of the Internet, where the user became, not just the content, but the star of the data world. DyE is fascinated by the in nity opportunity to be both anonymous and popular from any Place in the World. As a Call and Response to this ‘Golden period’ DyE created a little project called ‘One Week, One Track!’ which saw him upload a new track to MySpace every week.

for the first 5 years of writing electronic music I was making dubby, DnB, Jungle, Hip hop and experimental music. It wasn't until my friend convinced me to try and write a trance tune (which I refused to do for a long time) ' The Moof is Rooving ' I played at one of my first sets as the last track at a small out door festival in the forest outside of nelson along side my dubby experimental music and as soon as the first kick dropped people were coming out of the trees and running to the dance floor and dancing like people having an exorcism. Once I was back home after the summer in nelson I started to write psy break and some more psychedelic stuff. as the next summer came around I had a full set of tunes to play and was pushed into the spot light playing greats times and having an amazing response.
The fractal of life opened up in front of me and I have surfed that wave far and wide playing grouch all over the world. The problem was that I didn't have enough time to write enough even grouch music which is why my album on zenon records " Corpus Callosum' took me upwards of 5 years to finish.

I knew that as soon as the album was done and I was back from touring it I would be getting deep and going back to my roots and writing music that just comes out of me so naturally - LOVE it it comes straight from my heart and I am so happy to have had the time and support to finish this piece of my self.

My journey in life through my music is a transformation healing path where i am having to face my insecurities of being on stage where I often get stage fright BUT the love of my passion for music has kept me getting up on stage and facing the fear. Every time I get up there I have a healing experience, facing my fears with my love and so I grow and feel humbled to the core from this Life's blessing of giving me a passion I knew I would never let go.

Bran Richards is a bit of an enigma. Initially entering the bass music sphere in 2009 with a EP release on Addictech Records, then in 2011 "Dead Beat Son" was his next move, an album that solidified his sound and place in Glitch Hop. His eventual path included releases on Colony, Adapted, Simplify, and others before he disappeared onto a dojo to advance through the ranks of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu achieving his brown belt. 

As a disciple of multiple Sensei's both based in audio as well as martial arts, Bran's continued dedication to his crafts shows what devotion and commitment can flourish into success. 

He's back at his home on Addictech Records starting with a three part trilogy. "Beep Bop" is straight back into his funky glitch hop roots with broadened palette of technique and tactics to rock the dancefloor.
