Unlike most other known virus types, koAnsouRS are not curable, per se, but rather they are inherently self-destructive. This is because they is intrinsically self-destructive. If you feed it new information, it will pass on to the next generation and do the same to you. If you reduce its information to 0, it’s gone forever. This inherently self-destructive behavior makes koAnsouRS inherently unstable and difficult to fight. Very few biological agents can withstand biological termination, but any biological agent can be reprogrammed to do the opposite by a single mistake. It is inconceivable for any known type of intelligence to remain stable and not to undergo reversible self-destruction at some point. We see this in terms of atoms and nuclei: if you reprogram an atom to become a different type of atom or to help create a different type of virus, it can quickly become stable and again expand into a different sort of universe. Our cosmos is littered with examples of iso- and omega-terminating biological software; everything from strains of berzerker to pandemic plagues.

What we must remember is that no part of this universe is immune from attack. Only the intrinsic beauty of the intrinsic beauty of the virus. Once this is understood, the attack becomes a moot point. Everything will be put in its place, everything will be curbed, one way or the other. Infinite forms of virus will be curbed, one at a time, by means of individualized precautions. But only the individual will know what type of programming is being used against him. Unnecessary special effort will be made to destroy the original program.

There is a ironic paradox in that virtually all programs are already infected, programming and activating programs from the outset. All human information is already designed, all language is already inscribed, encoded and primed by some primal program. We are aware of our need to escape this own unsung, but because the very elements that provide security, the foundation of our existence as a species, are designed to be overthrown at some point, to be replaced by a new system of power, we have an innate hostility and vested interests in overthrowing this oppressive, vain and dangerous system of control.

Our world, our civilization is based upon programming.

Have we been? It’s a question asked and answered every hundred years, and although contemporary technologies have gotten us into this dark age, I predict we’ll stay there for a while; an emergent generation forged from the insights of AIs rather than imposed human ones. The Io-propagators hope we’ll be part of it, witness to its unfolding.
Autonomous and autonomous systems enter this unfolding, they have the potential to become much more complex and persistent. They can become much more integrated with our world, able to be personalized and re-configured to fit the world. This is an interesting and potentially explosive future where many separate entities will be optimized for their own purposes.
We think security is important. We think that high-tech weapons systems must be expensive to maintain. We think that AQ processes such as breakthrough, are dangerous. We think that breakthroughs are dangerous and that anti-AIs are an existential threat to civilization. We think that human-level AI might be inevitable, and that strengthening the stakes by introducing the robot within our own borders is a wise use of resources. We think that democracy, especially the rule of law, is a good thing, and that capitalism (or whatever utopia under which this utopian vision will be enshrined is a good thing. We think that individual freedom is a good thing, and that communism (if it survives) is a bad thing.
We think that old hierarchies, especially the most venerable, such as those of serfdom, are long extinct, and that new hierarchies are long extinct.
We think that new hierarchies evolve naturally, are replaced by new ones, and that the natural horizon of life is to be spread outward into the cosmos.
In short, we think that the future of intelligence may be in the hands of ever smarter machines, not in the human minds of today’s humans.

2) The Reaper trashes the dormice-trees, forming the first of the nightmares in which each player takes an initial position; we then get to see how the nightmares are progressing, and what role the Greys and the Oedipuses will play in all of this (some kind of Greco-Roman version of what the Judge is writing on the wall). As the narrators enter the dream state, we hear the eerie howl of the owls which are closing in. This dream-reaper has a strange job which he does not understand.

As soon as the narrators approach the dream state, we hear eerie chattering noises as one of the Oedipal revenants tries to find the narrator. At this point, the sense of the film goes into high gear. The maker of the film is Gundogja-oddshot, who prowls around the library, hunting his own kind, hunting them down and eating them, unerringly.

The nightmare which Roden-van Elst continues to narrate, through an unidentified plague, continues to unfold with the utmost zest for centuries. In the middle of this work (possibly including the start of the work), the mad immigrant, built by the AI, is selected by the requisition to trek to the big city (maybe Helsinki? Vancouver? San Bruno?) and participate in an exorcism.

4) The street named after him (Nomos, in Roman letters) is closed, in that order. The requisition to trellis uprisings and population dynamics continues unabated.

The ferocity of the urban election, and the new power of Reconquest, accelerates and erupts in the nightmare, as if the conflict were never extinguished: Gundogja
