Swedish singer-songwriter Vera Lucia is known for her melancholic and emotive vocal style. Inspired by the likes of Jeff Buckley and Mazzy Star, Vera has been cutting her teeth in the vibrant indie scene of Berlin.

Stepping out of her comfort zone in Stockholm, Vera´s musical journey has seen her perform around Berlin both with her band Forest Island and as a singer for UK Indie artist Freddie Dickson.

In 2022, Vera was asked to perform on Swedish Idol, reaching the final 10 and performing to thousands of people across the nation.

With this new found success, Vera returned to Berlin to release her first single ´Baritone’, a deeply personal breakup song that captured the hearts of her new found fans.

She has since lent her voice to the production music world working with established Australian composer Michael Edwards (Game of Thrones, Olympics Soundtrack). 

Vera will release her new dark, emotional cover of Sophie Ellis-Bexter‘s hit song ´Murder on the Dancefloor´ on March 15th.
