Bio:
Growing up in PG County Maryland, he never quite fit in one category. Excelling academically in school but also being intrigued by the creativity and expression of rap, he began penning raps for class presentations around 5th grade. This grew into working with friends from his church to compose a number of songs they performed at various youth events and services in the local area. Often lacking production, like many young rappers, he continued writing and performing acapella pieces that many began to label spoken word. His appreciation for captivating a crowd with nothing but the power of his words/delivery continued to grow throughout his college years, while attending Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.

His prowess for performing continued to grow as well, eventually leading to winning multiple contests. These experiences allowed him to open up for artists such as Ndelible, Mali Music and Group 1 Crew. He also has opened for rappers he's admired since youth such as, Da' TRUTH and Lecrae! 

Even through attaining multiple degrees and corporate positions, he's always held the dream of using his voice for impact. He released his debut, official EP, Invincible Summer late 2017. He preparing for his next project (T)here and released the 2 first singles recently. Join him on his journey.

It's time I updated this lil corner of my world. I still wear a lot of hats in a sense: I produce, write, arrange and record tracks in the vein of Christian Club/House as "o'darque hunnett" (a play on the military term for "sometime between midnight and whenever your scheduled wake-up time is"); and what I like to call Rhythm & Praise (coined by Dawkins & Dawkins) and Christian Hip-Hop as "brothaROD". I freelance as a audiovisual consultant and a mobile music producer (unorthodox concoxionz is my 'company'). I am a Spoken Word artist and an “outta practice” percussionist...I have an AAS in Audio Production / Engineering, with plans to continue on to the Bachelor's degree, so this means there'll be no more excuses for sucky mixes on what would be half-way decent tracks. B-)

For now, I'm doing cover tracks to protect my original work for copyrighting purposes. These should serve as a rough idea of what to expect when I post. I step-recorded all the tracks you hear and see here using Caustic 3 for Android, but generally use Logic Pro X after making the switch to iOS/Mac OS. (“idle mindz” was tracked in Caustic then exported to Logic for adding vocals and mixdown.)

As an artist, I have affiliations with MoneyBird Entertainment and Elohim Music, and I also write and produce for my own music under 'anointed audioworx'. Watch this space for archived tracks and new material in the coming weeks.
