Avenue Red's BIG 200 steamroller rolls on to DJ mix 5/10 with the 7th contribution from London-based resident selector, Josh Lentink. In keeping with his trademark sound, here we have another colourful, enlightened, melodically rich mixture of deep house, techno, electro, IDM and breaks in this CD-length payload of divine cuts from Josh's glowing and diverse collection.

"This mix was recorded with a lot of new records (as new mixes often do) and a few oldies chucked in. I decided to bring the tempo down a bit but didn't want full on chug. @robertobosco is an italian electronic Dj/producer and label owner. In 2007 he started his career by remixing the legendary track ‘Game One’ by @juan-atkins & @orlando-voorn and he released music on labels like Wave Music by François Kevorkian , Applied Rhythmic Technology (ART) by Kirk Degiorgio and he also released three ep on @figure label owned by @lenfaki, just to name a few. During his career, he has always tried to improve his knowledge and to expand his music horizons looking for new sonorities. Indeed he founded an ambient/experimental label Last Drop Records in 2014 with his long time friend Kiny. His eclecticism can be found in his various projects like Introspective - Woods - Ichinen. Recently he has started a new adventure creating a new label: Sonorous Waves.

This week we have Michal Gutkowski behind the decks, also known as Ariet. His commitment to putting together music does not derive exclusively from his own energy, as he uses his rhythms as audiovisual therapies for himself and his listeners as well.

Michal resides in Poznan, Poland and has traveled many countries for his craft. On the 30th of September, Ariet has a new EP planned on the mighty KVLTÖ Records. 
Some words by the man himself: "I'm super excited to be joining some of my favorite producers like John Plaza, Vanta or Pattrn on the label. The EP consists of 4 tracks, which were produced in the autumn of 2021. I treat them very personally as they were the expression of the things that I was going through."

Definitely check it when it's out. But for now, please comfort yourself with this spectacular session.

Brooklyn duo Irina Kotik and Gilles Wasserman started recording as Moon Patrol in 2017, focusing on lo-fi atmospheric downtempo and depths of low-slung atmospheric techno. With releases on labels like On Board Music and Huinali Recordings in 2021, the duo spent the first few months of 2022 working on their debut long player 'Mountain House Music', which is due in upcoming months via South Korean record label, Huinali Recordings. Irina and Gilles are also co-founders of the popular music platform Delayed.
