D Rude, born Dashon Brown, is a native of Northside Houston, Texas. He's a producer, songwriter and rapper extraodinaire. His dedication to his music comes from his determination to show what a true artist is. This young man has always had a passion for music and what he calls "the art of noise".

He started to pursue his love for music in 2001; while attending college at Prairie View A & M University. This is when he discovered his talents; D, along with friends use to gather around the mic and freestyle to beats. He confided in his cousin, Wade Mac, a known producer, who then introduce him to "FL Studios" and the rest is history.
